Stephen King has written 54 novels and over 200 short stories and is considered one of the greatest living authors of the horror genre. Comedian Tabitha Vidaurri has read all of his books, and so she created a horror-comedy show for Stephen King fans! With special guest comics Nick Naney, Melissa Rocha and Billy Keenly, plus tales of terror reenacted by The Deadlights, New York’s best (and only) Stephen King sketch comedy troupe. AND Pennywise the Clown will be there scaring people/giving out candy!
I recently took a trip to Bangor, Maine and got to see SK’s hometown and some of the local haunts that inspired novels like It, Pet Semetary, Insomnia, and The Gunslinger and also the Dunkin’ Donuts where Tabitha King used to work. I also got to go right up to SK’s house, which is essentially Graceland for horror nerds. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet him or his cute little dog, but I still had a great time and I am very excited for the show on October 29th!
