Writer, comedian, actor and voice talent.

I’m an extremely versatile writer with a diverse background in television, magazines, apps, nonprofit organizations, and patient information for oncology,  pediatrics and behavioral health. Because of my background as an actor and doing voice-over, I have the ability to write natural-sounding copy.  I’ve worked extensively with the women’s reproductive health app, Flutter Health and created a series of videos for their social media campaign. I’ve written for Dangerous Minds, GuySpeed, Brooklyn Exposed, Publisher’s WeeklyThe Comedians Magazine, Spilt Milk Magazine, The Delinquent, Instigatorzine, The Jersey City Independent, Wonka Vision Magazine, Phillyist and Disney’s Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil. For a more detailed look at my resume, please visit my LinkedIn page.

I write and star in the horror-comedy The Stephen King and I, an entire comedy show dedicated to Stephen King’s books. (I have read all of them.)

I was head writer for WFMU’s punk rock variety show, Prove it All Night with Pat Byrne from 2015 to 2017. I’ve starred in shorts for Funny or Die, Above Average and Volterre Sunglasses, and have made guest appearances on The Special Without Brett Davis, Mysteries at the Museum, and PIT TV. I’ve done the Toronto, Chicago, Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Out of Bounds  Comedy Festivals, as well as SOLOCOM, NYC Sketchfest, Chicago Snubfest, The Philly Fringe Festival and at The PIT, The Annoyance, UCB and various underground comedy venues throughout the city.

I’ve performed in plays and collaborative theater pieces at The Park Avenue Armory, The New Ohio Theater, The Bushwick Starr, The Cherry Lane Theater, The Brick, HB Studios and Dixon Place.

I’ve worked for several nonprofit organizations including Film Forum and Planned Parenthood.  I’m unapologetically feminist and a proud LGBTQ+ ally. I was part of the Talk to Anyone About Mental Health campaign for Bring Change to Mind, Glenn Close’s nonprofit organization to raise awareness for mental health.

Other random facts about me: I play alto saxophone and occasionally perform “Stand-up Jazzedy”, I am a die hard Kids in the Hall fan, and I love cats, Warren Zevon and Italian horror movies. My younger brother Shane makes beautiful illustrations and has written several books.
